PENNY ROSEN – Social Networking

SOCIAL NETWORKING – A friend of mine for many years, Penny is a facebook junkie and in her own hospitable way has become a regular server of fine tasting music to her legion of friends in the social networking playground. Penny’s been very close to music professionally and personally for her entire life and in this chat she shares some great music memories and opens our eyes to new things like the ukelele based band Ooks of Hazard! She talks to me from her empty condo as she gets ready to make a return to Tinsel Town. We wish her the best with the move but know she’ll always be a click away. Add her as a facebook friend if you like music!

JOHN FORD – Radio/Computers

RADIO/COMPUTERS – Apple computer mad scientist John Ford joins us from Austin, TX to bring back some golden radio memories from WSHE, WZTA, WIOD and KDGE. In his classic cynical style he tells us how dumb facebook is, what happened to the radio and why he’ll never return to Florida. Ford goes on to suggest that iPhone and iPad technology will pave the way for future computer generations.
You’ll also get to hear a sample of some of John’s anecdotal music that we swiped from his blog domain johnford.net. You won’t find him on facebook but you’ll find him here.
Thanks John for takin’ the time!
